The Challenge
The customer had an ageing 20+ year old conventional boiler with hot water cylinders in the airing cupboard and tanks in the loft. The pressure was poor, and the system was inefficient, leading to high bills and lukewarm showers.
The Solution
We recommended a conversion to a modern Combi Boiler system. This involved:
- Removal: Taking out the old tanks and cylinder to free up storage space.
- Installation: Installing a new high-efficiency Worcester Bosch Combi boiler.
- Flushing: Powerflushing the radiators to remove sludge and improve output.
- Controls: Fitting a smart Hive thermostat for easy control from their phone.
The Result
The family now enjoys instant hot water at mains pressure, perfect for simultaneous showers. They have gained a whole cupboard of storage space and are projected to save significantly on their annual gas bill.
